Description

An evening focused on celebrating Oregon’s food and beverage industry, as well as the important equity work taking place in our community. We welcome you to join us for our second TASTE for Equity event featuring an evening of Oregon premier food, beverage and equity heroes. Our collective mission is to celebrate our diverse community and support equity work in Greater Portland. This event showcases the Oregon Wine, Beer, and Food industry with local chefs such as Chris Cha, Luna Contreras, Alexandria Guevarra, Nikeisah Newton, Thuy Pham, and Jaime Soltero, and winemakers from Abbey Creek to Shiba Wichern; all while honoring and celebrating important equity work taking place in the community. All proceeds generated from the event sponsors will support local culturally-specific and equity based non-profits. The event program will also honor local equity heroes across sectors spotlighting how the Portland Metro region is leaning into love and equity. TASTE Beneficiaries this year include: KairosPDX, Latino Network, NAYA (NativeAmerican Youth and Family Center) and Seeding Justice (formally MRG).
