Enthusiastic eccentric looking for other enthusiastic eccentrics

I've wanted to be in a band forever, and have been stockpiling songs since I was a young teen. I play the keys, the alto sax, the bohdran, sing, and am learning mandolin. I'm a jolly n passionate person 25 years of age with a very eclectic taste in music that I will attempt to describe anyway. Some of my favorite bands are Oingo Boingo (and Danny Elfman in general), Electric Light Orchestra, Mother Mother, and Lemon Demon. I also adore folk music (Bob Dylan, Wailin Jennys, Nickel Creek, Gaelic Storm), pop punk (Blink-182, Green Day), some more alt/indie (The Dear Hunter, Death Cab for Cutie), some classic rock favorites (Queen, Journey, Styx) and some jazz standard/crooner influences as well. I also like Primus and a great deal of videogame soundtracks and movie scores. What is genre. Why do we do this. Just want to see if there's anyone likeminded and interested out there, maybe in meeting up for a jam / chat at Prescott Park or something. I want to create and play music with real people. I want to grow with those people, push those people to be better, and have those people push me to be better. I work a 9-5 remotely, so evenings and weekends are when I'd be open to practice. Presumably overall time commitment would be something we'd discuss as a band once there is an idea of one. Iunno what the odds are of meeting future bandmates / good friends on Craigslist, but they'll be 0 if I continue to never post. I hope it's you, reading this! Wouldn't that be simple?
