Funny Fridays @ Londonderry Lions Fri 9/3/2021 - School's In! The kids are back in school, so it's time for their parents to take the stage and remind us of how nice that is! This month's lineup at Funny Fridays at the Londonderry Lions Laura Severse - A native Boston comic, actor, and writer, Laura is a devoted wife, working mother of two, and a gifted storyteller. Laura brings her hard-working, heartfelt approach to life to stages across the country. Laura’s attitude is equal parts bold, brash, kind, and gentle but always funny. She finds humor in everything from climbing the corporate ladder to the trials and tribulations of raising two young children in the heart of a changing city in the midst of a changing world. Audiences have no choice but to be swept up in the joy, pathos, and sheer excitement of a city kid who’s seen it all and can’t wait for more. She is a true Dorchester Debutante with a killer accent and a lifelong addiction to gold hoops. Laura has featured for Tim Dillon at The Wilbur Theater, Foxwoods, and Laugh Boston. In addition to Tim Dillon, Laura has featured for Big Jay Oakerson, Jay Larson, Erik Griffin and Chad Daniels. She has performed with Gary Gulman, Lenny Clarke, and Jimmy Tingle. Laura regularly headlines Nick’s Comedy Stop, The Comedy Scene, The Attic, and venues all over New England and beyond. She is a featured performer at Laugh Boston and WooHaHa. Laura has participated in the Boston Comedy Festival, HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, Thunderfest and the CinderBlock Festival. She has participated in talent showcases for Comedy Central and Just For Laughs Montreal as well as multiple Best of Boston Comics Showcases. Laura is a former Comic-In-Residence at the world-famous Comedy Studio in Cambridge, MA. She has performed for WGBH Stories from the Stage and acted in several Tres Gatos Productions. Her most recent video, Tim Dillon’s, “The Wallet” was viewed by over 2 million people. She has performed all over the country from Los Angeles to New York City and is a beloved staple of New England comedy. Dawn Hartill - Dawn Hartill is stand-up comedian from Lewiston, Maine and is a mom to three boys. When she isn’t shopping at Shaw’s, she delights audiences of all ages by sharing her observations on life, marriage, and the experiences of trying to excel at motherhood . . . Or at least trying to keep her children from needing extensive therapy. She is the 2016 Winner of The Strand Cup Comedy Competition and regularly performs throughout New England. She has appeared at Improv Boston, Comix at Mohegan Sun, The Ithaca Comedy Festival and The International Lady Laughs Comedy Festival. Bryan Muenzer - A North Carolina native now based in New Hampshire, Bryan blends personal stories with clever one liners to create an original comedy voice. He has worked everywhere in New England; from the Green Mountain Comedy Festival in Burlington, VT to the world-renown Comedy Studio in Cambridge, Mass.
