Join Althea Center for our Sunday Gathering with Alice Brink and amazing music by Stephen Fordham. Join Althea Center for Engaged Spirituality in our upcoming Sunday Gathering, "Substance is Alive and Well Today!" with Alice Brink. All are welcome to be with us! When: Sunday, August 22nd, 10:30 - 11:45 am MT *Doors will open at 10:00 am & RSVP is appreciated, but not required. The founders of the Science of Mind and New Thought movements all had profound physical proof that this “Substance” that we name in our Statement of Belief is real. Join us August 22nd as Alice Brink shares the journey that led to her discovery of the healing power of SUBSTANCE and how it is applicable and accessible to everyone. Alice will also share the dynamic history of the birth of our movement and how it relates to the healing discoveries that brought her back from the “brink” of death more than 40 years ago, and is still more than active in her life today. We'll also have amazing music by Stephen Fordham. All are welcome to join this energetic Sunday! We'll also be hosting a live Gong Bath at 12:30 pm with Gregg Wilkins, $25. She brings her experience as a Reiki Master, entrepreneur, leadership coach and corporate trainer, along with 29+ years’ experience in real estate to the self-development arena. Alice is inspired by helping people create a life and work they love through acquisition of practical tools regarding their personal energy and beliefs that result in less stress and more joy. Alice loves the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Rocky Mountains and Denver. When she is not working with clients, she is writing, “arting,” hiking, kayaking, snow-shoeing, dancing, figuring out the big picture through her spiritual journey and exploring the unique “cities-within-the-city” in the area. Alice is mom to 2 exceptional adult children and one grand-dog. These sessions can have a profound effect on many levels of your being and consciousness including the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional as well as facilitating the potential for reaching Theta and Delta states from our waking Beta state. Due to the broad spectrum of frequencies created by these instruments and the resonance created through them, you are able to hear sounds through your ears and also able to sense through your skin and skeletal system. This may even affect your being on a cellular level. This will be an amazing way to rejuvenate your soul! While each Althean may have opinions about the current state of the pandemic, let us do our very best to keep our thoughts, feelings, and prayers focused positively and with love and compassion for each other, the ill and their families, and those working tirelessly day after day to care for people who are sick. The board made these decisions with a safety of everyone's Health utmost in our minds, and we will continue to modify our policies based on regional and national recommendations.
