More than just a band, but a performance art project, The Freakshow is currently looking for more members! This group is not size restricted, any and all can join, but only so many of us can perform at certain shows. The group so far consists of; bassist/vocalist and clown (Rusty), electric guitarist and giant (Chester), Piano/Turntables and fire spinner (Nick), acoustic/percussionist and acrobat (Joelle), harmonica and juggler (Tobias). WE NEED A DRUMMER! If you play anything else, most of us play other instruments and will all switch off with others in the project. We wish to incorporate many styles of music and utilize many instruments so there’s always room. Our style includes funk metal, punk, grunge, alternative, surfer, ska, and really random bits of just about anything else. Anyone can be a part of the project to whatever degree they desire. Long term, we wish to gather a decent size group of fellow musician/performance artists that wish to travel city to city. Short term, we are still willing to jam with people not up for traveling while we’re here. The beauty is, you can remain a part of the project and whenever we are back in town it’s like you never left. If you’re interested in any of these ideas, come on down! Contact us!
