The 2021 GEM 's Annual Conference is scheduled for September 9-11, 2021 in Houston, Texas. GEM will always be guided by the safety and well-being of our partners, exhibitors, sponsors, and fellows and are hopeful that the status of the country and specifically Houston, will allow us to host the conference as an in-person event. We will monitor the pandemic leading up to our conference and will make changes as necessity dictates. This is the “must attend” event in 2021 for advocates who want to transform how the United States educates and prepares engineering and science talent for advanced leadership careers, particularly among our nation’s native born, historically underrepresented ethnic groups.
