TPI Staffing will be hosting a Material Handler/Warehouse JOB FAIR in Cypress, TX to fill over 20+ openings for our client in Northwest Houston!! WALK-INS WELCOME! Stop by this week, Tuesday, August 18th - Friday, August 20th from 9AM - 4PM at our Cypress Office: 21840 Northwest Freeway, Ste. E, Cypress, TX 77429. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND AND DRUG SCREEN TO START! Follow this link to schedule ASAP: We are looking for: Warehouse/Material Handlers ($13/hr) - 20+ 1st Shift openings Bring an updated resume with valid forms of government issued identification! Material Handlers needed in Northwest Houston. 6 openings Pay Rate: $13.00/hr Temp Assignment until November 1st Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm Perks & Benefits: • Enjoy getting paid weekly • On-site vending machines available to all employees • Temp Benefits include Comprehensive Medical, Vision, Dental plans, weekly paycheck and more Basic shipping/receiving, using pallet jacks, carts or scissor lifts. Open boxes, put in tote, move to designated area in warehouse. Responsibilities: • Issuing or distributing materials, products, parts and supplies to departments based on order • Receives and verifies quantities of incoming materials • Responsible for loading & unloading material • Responsible for gathering parts in preparation for shipment to include packaging, labeling and staging • Records the movement of material using order request forms and or transfer sheets • Assists in the movement of materials • Perform warehouse duties - cleaning and organizing material- to maintain a safe working environment • May perform some data entry and filing within the warehouse Requirements: • 1-2 years of experience in warehouse position preferred • Must be comfortable standing, bending and lifting for extended periods • Able to utilize manual moving equipment including; pallet jacks, carts, scissor lifts, etc. • Must be able to use a computer • Able to read, write and speak English • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with general supervision Driving Directions to TPI Cypress Office: Take 290W exit Telge. Watch for a sales lot of school buses that are out for sale. Go very slow as you are passing lot as we are the 2nd driveway after that. We are in a small strip center of offices with a green roof. There is a TPI sign in between the drainage ditch and our black iron fence. If you get to the light at Telge, you missed us!
