Summary/Objective: Trimark Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our company. The main duties include but are not limited to diagnosing problems and making repairs, ensuring all upkeep, inventory, preventative maintenance, and repairs of the grounds, common areas, amenities, apartments, and buildings of the community are completed in an efficient manner. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for scheduling and directly supervising and leading the Maintenance Technician team. Essential Functions: • Has 2-3 years of experience as a supervisor or manager • Previously worked as a Maintenance Supervisor or Trades Foreman • Has broad previous experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, repair, and punch work) • EPA and HVAC certified strongly preferred. • Commitment to Emergency-On-Call participation a requirement. • Proven excellent customer service. • Extremely organized and detail-oriented • Ability to work independently and prioritize projects Required Skills/Qualifications: • An AS or college coursework in Building Construction is a plus, but not a requirement • Strong leadership skills required • Must be drug-free and smoke-free at all times • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check with a completely clean record • Must have reliable vehicle Working Environment: • Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium to heavy physical work, to work around machines, to climb and descend ladders, to operate a variety of tools and equipment, and to operate a motor vehicle; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and to distinguish colors in wiring; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. • Frequent walking in operational areas to identify problems or hazards. • Requires dexterity needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator and to operate tools and equipment. • Required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and inspect work sites. • Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds or heavier weights with assistance and/or the use of proper equipment.
