Hello world, I would like to introduce you to Patricia Weatherspoon or Nana as she is called by her loving grandchildren. Our Nana is a 58 year old life long resident of Buffalo NY, mother of 3, with 13 grandchildren & one great grandchild. On Wednesday, August 11th 2021, our beloved Nana woke up sick, weak, confused & feeling pain throughout her body that she never felt before. One of her nieces, who is a nurse, was sent over to do a wellness check on her. She took her temperature and saw that Nana had a fever of 103 degrees. With the constant fear of COVID-19 always looming, Nana was rushed to the emergency room at Buffalo General Hospital. It was later discovered that she had tested positive for COVID0-19, developed Pneumonia, her oxygen levels had dropped to 89%. In addition, she was severely dehydrated and had to be admitted to the hospital. When she was discharged from Buffalo General Hospital on Friday, August 13th, 2021, she was put on Dexametaon, Famotidine and placed on an oxygen machine to assist with her breathing at home.
