Grab your bikes for the annual Steve Zimmerman Memorial Bike Tour! Meet just behind Rockford City Hall at 425 E. State Street at 8 a.m. River District Bike Tours are back this summer! Each bike tour occurs only on Saturdays and all start at 8 a.m. We try to keep the tours to 2 hours but may run a little over time. A $5 donation is encouraged, but not required. This tour will highlight some of Rockford's hidden gems, including the Mel Anderson bike path along Kent Creek, the architectural histories of Roosevelt and West Middle Schools, Garrison Lofts and neighborhoods like the Garfield Ave. Historic District, Ellis Heights and Signal Hill.
