Cosley Zoo Stream Clean-up (In person) Cosley Zoo Conservation ALL AGES Be a part of conservation in action and join Cosley Zoo team members in a stream clean-up. This family-friendly volunteer event will take place at Winfield Creek, by Elliot Lake, just south of the zoo. Please dress in clothes and footwear that can get wet and dirty.  FAQs Who can volunteer? All ages are welcome.  Families are encouraged to attend together.  Anyone under the age of 14 must attend with an adult.  Participants must be comfortable being on uneven, wet or muddy terrain.  All participants will be required to complete a waiver upon check-in. Where do we meet? We will meet in the parking lot of E.P. Doyle & Son, LLC , 1100 Wheaton Oaks Court, Wheaton, IL 60187 located south of Wheaton Sport Center. What to wear? Work or waterproof boots are recommended Long pants and long-sleeve shirt Please bring your own work gloves Sunscreen & bug spray   Cosley Zoo gives visitors up-close interactions with nature right in the heart of the suburbs. Nestled on 5 acres, Cosley Zoo is home to farm animals and native Illinois wildlife. Visitors will discover exhibits that immerse them in natural habitats for white-tailed deer, red fox, Blanding’s turtles, bobcat, coyote, and more. Cosley Zoo is also a center for education and wildlife conservation, offering programs that teach people of all ages how to care for the world around them and give back to the communities in which they live, work, and play. PHOTO RELEASE: Cosley Zoo may take photographs or video of participants promoting our programs, services, events, activities, and facilities in our brochures, website or agency social media, etc. By participating in or attending any Cosley Zoo activities the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) agrees to the use and distribution of his or her image (or image of a minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic reproductions of such activities for any purpose without inspection, compensation, or any other consideration now and in the future.
