Come join this weekly mindfulness meetup, meet great people, and practice mindfulness with certificated teachers! Although meditation can sometimes feel like an 'individual sport,' we've found that learning and practicing mindfulness in a group-setting is one of the most powerful ways to accelerate your practice. Our Mindfulness Meetup is a one-hour, weekly live group mindfulness experience where you can join a community of meditators and experience the benefits of a group practice. This is a donation based event and is held at no cost to attendees! To join there's a deposit of $15, once you show up, you'll get it back! With experience teaching mindfulness to the U.S Government, Fortune 500’s, such as Disney, Volvo, Volkswagen, Chevron, Alibaba, and many others. In 2016, Brandon founded Shanghai Mindfulness — now known as, Modern Mindfulness. A community of more than 7,000 students in Shanghai, China and now around the world. Brandon is ultra passionate about teaching mindfulness in a relatable way that resonates with all forms of people. He loves teaching others to be teachers and consciously collaborating with all to share mindfulness with the world. Erik Leslie: With over 10 years experience working as a mindfulness and performance consultant for the miltary, doctors, and athletes. He has designed and taught mindfulness and performance courses for organizations including the Special Forces, Apache Pilots, and several of Darnell’s Hospital Clinics. He is a certified teacher from The University of Massachusetts in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and received his Masters in Psychology from University of Denver.
