Join NTFB and Turn composting company to learn about which edible plants can be used for landscaping and how to harvest them! Landscaping can double as not only beautiful plants but edible ones, too! Join us at NTFB as Lauren Clarke, Founder and CEO of Turn, teaches which edible plants can be used for landscaping as well as how to grow and harvest them. September-October is the time to begin many cool season plantings, so come join us and get inspired to switch up your landscaping a bit differently this year! Sign-ups close 5pm Friday, Sept. 17th. Parking: Park in the front of the building and walk in to the lobby where you will be directed to the meeting room. Masks are required to enter the building. The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a hunger relief organization with a proven record of accomplishment, earning a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. We focus on providing our hungry neighbors with access to nutritious foods. Each day, the NTFB and our feeding network provide access to more than 200,000 meals for hungry children, seniors and families across the 13 counties we serve. Last year, NTFB provided access to almost 77 million meals. While we are making steady progress toward closing the hunger gap, much work remains to be done to reach NTFB's 10-year plan of providing access to 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025.
