Spring/Summer 2021/2022 Runway Presentation
This year we will be benefitting Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support to raise funds for them to continue there mission in giving women in abusive situations a way out and providing shelter and support as well, raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence and impact.
This Spring/Summer 21 “WOMAN” runway presentation is inspired by women wanting to celebrate women coming from different walks of life. The designer being raised by a single parent mother immigrated from Kingston, Jamaica raised by a village of a women who taught him the importance of being a gentleman, loving, caring, thoughtful and a protector and using this show as a thank you letter to them and to the women around the world who working ten times harder to match that of their male counter parts to be seen as equal and empowered.
Past presentations have benefitted Dallas Independent School District high school graduate creatives that have moved on to art institutions in New York, Dallas & L.A. The past four years from selling DO NO TOUCH Benefit t-shirts black and white color ways, we raised $13,500 in scholarship funds. From ticket sells and personal donation of $6000 as well were able to give six very deserving students from Lincoln High School, Roosevelt High School & Madison two $1,500 scholarships per school.
