Receiving and Inventory Clerk We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detailed individual to fill the position of Receiving and Inventory Clerk in our Brookings location. This is a 25-40 hour/week position, M-F. We seek candidates that will contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the parts department. Primary responsibilities include: Tasks in this position includes receiving daily stock, inspect incoming goods, verifying goods against invoices, and distributing parts to the service shop in a timely manner. This person will also perform daily inventory counts. Ideal candidate will be able to make any necessary entries to the inventory control system based on company guidelines. Other Specific Duties Include: • Operate the store point-of-sale system (CDK) to search for parts orders and match to invoices. • Correctly identify parts, label as needed, and ensure internal and external customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner. • Assist Parts Counter with pulling and preparing inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery/shipping. • Take a proactive approach to inventory control by assisting and/or reporting discrepancies, label, and store parts in stockroom according to prearranged system and assist with regular inventory count duties. • Assist in keeping parts department clean and professional, includes maintaining the retail showroom floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and ensure customer satisfaction. • Operate machinery which will include forklift and telehandler. • Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times. • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. Job Requirements: • Knowledge of parts operating systems (Preferred) • Ability to become forklift certified • Computer skills • Strong organizational skills • Interpersonal skills • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
