Essential Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for laying block in construction of retaining and fence walls. • Work with a crew to hit production budgets and meet quality standards. • Build A column enclosures. • Stock block when necessary. • Cut and drop Rebar. • Mark and measure cuts for block. • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Foreman. Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements: • Minimum 1-year of residential block masonry experience preferred. • Provide all necessary Mason tools required (tool bag with wire reel tack pointer, trowel, wire cutters, 4in level, chicken legs, torpedo level, tack pointer, wire cutters, tooling jointer, brush, and brick hammer, measuring tape, etc.). • Must be a safe and hard worker. • Must be able to read and comprehend measurements. • Must have transportation to get from job to job throughout the day. • Must be able to work a fast pace and remain calm under pressure. • Must be able to lift 90lb. • OSHA10 card required. • Must be able to safely work in hot and cold temperatures on Construction job sites. • Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred. • Pass a mandatory employment drug test required.
