Overdose Awareness Day Candle Light Vigil TSN aims to raise awareness of overdose and to reduce the stigma associated with a drug-related death. On this day we remember all those who have passed, and we acknowledge the grief felt by families and friends of those who have died or suffered a permanent injury as a result of drug overdose. Stigma in relation to drug use and drug addiction is a barrier which discourages people from seeking help for drug problems, and stigma only adds to the suffering of families and friends who lose someone they love. Join us in a candle lighting ceremony as we walk down Atlantic Blvd. to San Antonio Blvd. and back (one block) bringing awareness to our community.
