Yoga + iRest Donation Based Class Benefitting PB Abbate Organization with Rebecca Gellman Let's join together either in person or virtually via Zoom to raise money and awareness for the PB Abbate Organization. The class will be lead by Rebecca Gellman. She will guide a 75 minute, all-levels yoga class that will end with iRest Yoga Nidra. All proceeds will be donated to the organization. Donations are also accepted if you are not able to attend. A little bit about the organization: PB ABBATE MISSION: To honor the legacy of Sergeant Matthew Abbate by providing warriors space to recalibrate inside the wire and community to thrive outside the wire. Patrol Base Abbate serves to honor the legacy of Sergeant Matthew Abbate by providing warriors space to recalibrate inside the wire and community to thrive outside the wire. They offer free-of-cost retreats in Big Sky Country for eligible service members and veterans, where they can reconnect with their warrior spirit, foster community through shared interests, and re-discover purpose in service to each other, their families, and their communities. To learn more, visit: https://www.pbabbate.org/ A little bit about Rebecca: Rebecca Gellman, 500 RYT, Level 1 iRest, is trained in vinyasa and hatha style yoga. She completed her initial yoga teacher training in 2015 and advanced training in 2020 . She has completed additional training in trauma sensitive yoga and therapeutic yoga. She has been a student of yoga and meditation for 15 years, frequently sharing the benefits of these practices with her clients. A local health care professional, Rebecca, teaches yoga, iRest, and mindfulness to veterans. She enjoys helping yoga students learn to tune in to and listen to their bodies in order to make the best choices for them throughout class and how to transfer that off mat into their everyday lives.
