SALEM, MA — Salem residents looking to vote in the Sept. 14 citywide primary have until Aug. 25 to register. The election office will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day for registration. Residents can check their voting status here or by calling 978-745-9595, Exts. 41210, 41211 or 41212. Those who want to vote by mail can download an application here. City polling locations for 2021 are: Ward 1 Bentley Academy Gymnasium, Community Room on Lafayette Street Ward 2 St. Peter's Church Parish Hall Ward 3 Salem High School Ward 4 Witchcraft Heights Elementary School, Frederick Street Ward 5 Saltonstall School auditorium, Lafayette Street Ward 6 Bates School, Liberty Hill Avenue Ward 7 Salem State Enterprise Center, Loring Avenue Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. More information can be found at the Salem Election Central here.
