Ring Found in the Ocean

I was fishing off the rocks in downtown Sausalito during low tide and discovered what appears to be a gold ring with a gemstone on the sea floor. This would have been under several feet of water at high tide, so it's quite possible that the person who lost it assumed that it was lost to the ocean forever. It looks like it was well worn by the owner and seemed to be fairly recently lost, as there was only a bit of mud caked around the stone. If you think this is your ring, message me with photos or a detailed description: size, color, type of stone, any inscriptions, precise location lost etc. Hopefully I can find the owner since I'm sure it holds some sentimental value for you
