PALM HARBOR, FL — The Pinellas County Building Department is continuing to investigate the severity of a sinkhole that appeared Friday morning on a Palm Harbor driveway, swallowing the residents' vehicles.
At 6:49 a.m., Palm Harbor Fire Rescue responded to a call of a hole opening in a driveway at 411 Ulelah Avenue and found two vehicles falling into a 10- by 10-foot opening.
The opening is about 15 feet away from the home. But, as a precaution, the residents were evacuated.
