Please join us for the Center for Work and Democracy’s Fall Conference. Registration is required. August 27, 2021, ASU Skysong 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This event is free and will also be live streamed. You will receive a link with information regarding the live stream after you register. Please join us for the Center for Work and Democracy’s Fall conference. The event will report on the Center’s work in George Floyd Square, on mapping the kernels of renewal in the labor movement, and on essential work and care work. We will also be introducing new residents and postdoctoral researchers at the Center, including our first activist-in-residence. Finally, the keynote panel will bring Craig Calhoun, University Professor of the Social Sciences, into dialogue with Dave Regan, the President of United Healthcare Workers West/SEIU, for a discussion on changes in American political economy and the path forward for the labor movement.
