Now hiring: Cashier We are a food truck servicing Lake county & Mchenry county, and parts of lower Wisconsin. We are booked up to 6 days a week and need cashiers/food handlers Tuesday-Sundays into December. We serve poutine & loaded french fries! Must be available Weekends! Although this is part time we are looking for someone who can work fri-sundays. Looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, customer service associate to handle the register. You will be cross trained between cashiering and handling food. Every employee can do every task - if needed. Duties include a plethora of things: Outside set up (menu, table, condiments, lights) Prep: Lifting up to 50 lbs at a time - Potatoes - cutting potatoes before service, cutting vegetables. Customer service: Greeting customers, taking/sending out orders, handling money, using pos device, and answering questions in a friendly manner, giving suggestions, upselling. Cleaning: Sanitizing and cleaning inside and outside frequently. Must Speak English NO PERMANENT LOCATION - Constantly serving at a different place daily. Must be OK to driving outside counties Mchenry, Lake, Kane, parts of lower wisconsin including racine county, Kenosha County, and Walworth County. (You will need to get yourself to these locations) as there is no additional space in food truck for passengers. Will try to provide transportation for events outside 40 miles If you do not have your own vehicle to get you to work, please do not reply to this ad. Most weekday services are 11-2 or 5-8pm. Will need you there an additional 30-45 minutes before & after to set up, break down, and clean. Most weekends are either those shifts, or a consistent 8 hour shift. Festivals are typically 8-10 hour days. Must be ok with being on feet for long periods of time, being in a tight cramped space (we have a tiny food truck kitchen), and heavy lifting. Must be a team player! Serious Inquiries only. Pay starts at $12/hr for training for the first week. $13/hr -15/hr depending on experience, plus shared tips and a free meal.
