WALLINGFORD, CT — Live Nation, the parent company of two local venues, will require all concertgoers to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or provide a negative COVID test, WTNH reports. Live Nation owns Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford and Xfinity Theatre in Hartford. This requirement goes into effect October 4 nationwide, WTNH reports. The Xfinity Theatre website says the requirement will apply to the Dead & Company show on September 5: "All fans must have received a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test within 48-hours before entry to the facility and provide printed proof of a negative result prior to entering the venue. Or, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose) and provide proof of vaccination - either the original vaccination card or a printed copy of the vaccination card." This applies to all concertgoers; fans under 12 who are not vaccinated or fans who are not vaccinated for a medical reason must also provide a negative COVID test.
