We are an original band that is also a late 90s- Todays Alternative cover band consisting of a lead singer, 3 backup singers, 1 x lead guitarist, keys/ piano, and bassist, in search of a top shelf Rhythm or Lead Guitarist!... and for what it is worth, we are all vaccinated as well for those who have at risk family members you may be worried about. This is our second crack at trying to bring someone in that fits the bill. If interested, please don’t hesitate to respond. About us: We are quite different in what music we play. Our band covers 90s- 2K alternative Pop Rock music. We all have top shelf gear and sound. We also have our own rehearsal studio as well that we can play at any time, which is a very desirable place to write and experiment sounds at with a 100% discount. Below is a list of bands we are covering. Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, Blink-182, Eve 6, 311, The Killers, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, Lumineers, Sublime, Chili Peppers, STP, Third Eye Blind, Fuel, Matchbox 20, Tonic, Incubus, Better Than Ezra, Gin Blossoms, Jimmy Eat World, The Black Keys, Bush, and many many many more songs from the 90s -Today. We have many influences across the board and will be writing based off what we have learned over the years. One thing we all have in common is that we are all schooled in music and come with a variety of backgrounds in music studies, going deep into all facets of music theory. In that, we play all covers as they are heard on each of the band’s tracks. For us, we all grew up listening to the music we play and are all in our 40s, so the best fit would most likely be in the same age group. We are very serious about the music, however, we also want to make sure we have loads of fun and on that, we are focused on bringing in someone that we would also like to be friends with outside of jamming. Three out of four of us are married and all of us have good enough careers to supplement our music habits, so we would hope you could also add with your own collection of gear and/or show equipment to the table too. What we don’t want: We don’t want people with drug issues, (420 is ok, as is a social drinker). We don’t want a guy that procrastinates with learning his parts. What will also disqualify you is being a no it all that points figures at others in the band or constantly complains. Last, gotta be incredibly cool and have a gift for music, matched with a desire to be a good teammate. Laid back is a great quality! No ass holes!
