PHILADELPHIA — A woman died after being struck by a freight train in West Philadelphia recently, according to a report. The incident occurred at about 3 p.m. Saturday in the area of Falls Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Fox 29 reports. Police said the woman was laying on the tracks when she was struck by a Norfolk Southern train and are unsure why she was on the tracks. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the outlet reports.
