Monrovia Community Garden Bed Applications Now Being Accepted

MONROVIA, CA — Residents hoping to cultivate their inner horticulturists will have a chance to rent a gardening plot of their own as applications are now being accepted for the Monrovia Community Garden. The Monrovia Community Garden has 21 garden plots that are available to rent yearly for a $60 annual fee, city officials said. The garden is open to city residents and families with children enrolled in the Monrovia Unified School District. The rental period will begin in October 2021 and end in October 2022. Applications for a garden plot are available online and are due by Sept. 10. Completed applications can be mailed or dropped off at the community garden, which is located at 303 W. Colorado Blvd. Contact the garden director for more information about the application process.
