Press release from the Wright County Government: August 16, 2021 Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Wright County Parks and Recreation Department until 12:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 for the furnishing of all labor, materials (save toe-wood trees) for the Streambank Stabilization project along the Mississippi River, within Otsego County Park.  Project Overview: A matching grant for this project has been awarded through the State of Minnesota Conservation Partnership Program. This project has STATE PREVAILING WAGE PROVISIONS.  All proposals must be developed and submitted following the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Provisions.   Wright County Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the Wright Soil and Water Conservation District is soliciting sealed proposals for a Streambank Stabilization Project, detailed in the bid packet, at Otsego County Park (15198 96th Street, NE, Otsego, MN), Wright County, MN.  The project includes site preparation, tree removal, toe wood installation, vegetative restoration and establishment period management of various habitat types totaling nearly 500 linear feet along the Mississippi River. We anticipate awarding this contract on September 10, 2021, with work to begin in as soon as possible and to be completed December 2021.   Interested contractors should submit sealed proposals on or before 12:00 PM Central Time on September 7, 2021.   Submittal requirements shall consist of sealed (3) hard copies delivered or mailed to: Wright County Parks and Recreation C/O: Otsego Park Streambank Project 3500 Braddock Ave. NE, Buffalo, MN 55313 This press release was produced by the Wright County Government.
