FREMONT, CA — Police in Fremont said on Saturday they have arrested two people in connection with multiple incidents of ATM skimming devices being used to take money from customers at numerous Bank of America locations in the area.
Officers on Thursday obtained a search warrant for both Daniel Mot, 41, and Marian Radu, 46, and executed the warrant at a location on Goldenrain Avenue, police said.'
There, officers seized several gift cards and over $20,000 in cash.
Officers arrested the pair on suspicion of multiple felonies, according to police.
Over the last two weeks, the ATM skimming devices were found at multiple locations in and around the Fremont area and customers reported cash missing from their accounts, according to police.
