First Day Of School In Davidson Prompts Warning To Town Drivers

DAVIDSON, NC — The Town of Davidson urged area motorists to watch out for children as some area schools return to class this week. "Back to school means more traffic and watching out for children walking and biking to school," the town said Monday. "Please be careful, be alert, and don't be a distracted driver, especially with more folks moving about!" SEE ALSO: Back To School In Davidson: 2021-22 CMS School Calendar Among the schools resuming class this week are The Community School of Davidson, which has two Davidson campuses, and Davidson Day. CSD's classes begin Aug. 16, while Davidson Day will stagger the start of classes Aug. 16 through Aug. 18. Davidson K-8 classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 25.
