Organized, Kid and Pet Friendly Housekeeper in Hidden Hills

Location: Hidden Hills Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:30am-5:30pm OR 10:30am-6:30pm Compensation: $25-30/hour + DOE *Must be fully covid vaccinated! A couple in Hidden Hills is seeking a full time housekeeper to help care for their home and keep it clean, tidy, and very organized. The home is 6,000 sf with 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms and there is a small, very well-behaved dog. Although the couple lives alone, their six grandchildren and adult children visit often on the weekends. The ideal candidate is a very loving, kid and pet-friendly person. Must be willing to help out with the dog (preparing food or taking for walks) and be an extra set of hands when the kids visit on the weekend. There is a houseman in place who keeps the exteriors of the home (patios, outside furniture, property grounds, etc) looking spectacular. We would like to find someone who is warm, genuine, and good with people. Please know how to read a room and understand when it is time to give the family some personal space. Must work well with others as you will be interacting with a houseman, assistant, pool man, dry cleaners, messengers, etc. On a Friday or Saturday, maybe twice a month, the couple would like someone who would be willing to either come later and stay later, or earn extra money that day (for instance, come at 10am-9pm). The couple travels quite a bit so there will be many times that you are given paid days off. When they are away, you may be asked to go in to pick up the mail or be there to receive the dry cleaning, but in general you will have a bulk of the time off. Specific Duties Include: General daily tidying Deep cleaning as needed Detailed organization for the household Some errands Coordinating dry cleaning pick ups and drop offs Receive packages Help with dinner prep Clean up after dinner on later work days Help with entertaining on Saturdays Help with packing and unpacking for trips Some ironing Some light meal prep
