Five piece indie rock band in search of drummer (existing drummer is a great fit, but his work commitments prevent him from practicing regularly). Our music (predominantly originals with a few covers sprinkled in) blends elements of indie, classic rock, blues, progressive, jam and alternative. A few demo songs can be heard on our website, and we have several more in the line-up. Currently writing more rocking songs, so we’re looking for a drummer that likes to rock and jam out! http://12thstreetdrifters.com/ We have been practicing together regularly since January and are ready to begin booking shows. Our practice cadence is 2x per week (typically one weeknight and one daytime practice over the weekend). A drummer willing to practice a bit more in the first few weeks to get up to speed would be a plus--we are definitely looking for someone that can jump right in. Our practice space is in Barton Hills, and we have an electronic kit here, so you don’t need to lug drums to every practice.
