Found Female Dog

Metric Blvd. near Stonehollow Drive, Austin TX

Description

FOUND FEMALE DOG on 8/16/2021, about 5:15 PM. Location: Found on median in road off Metric Blvd. between Stonehollow Drive and Sunhillow Bend (right across from the Chevron gas station and Cafe Java). Found wearing a blue collar with purple and yellow flowers, but no ID tags. Microchipped: None. Took to Austin Humane Society and they were not able to find a microchip. Breed: maybe a labrador/shepard mix. Color: yellow/golden/off-white fur (or hair, I'm not certain of the difference), brown eyes, brown snout, fur/hair appears long, but lays flat (not fluffy). Age: puppy, maybe 6-12 months. Size: medium (maybe around 40 lbs), very lean, but not underfed, appears well groomed, so likely got out today. Temperament: very sweet, appears well socialized with humans and other dogs. Quiet, doesn't bark or whine. Not potty-trained (according to the pee stain now on my carpet, lol). Other traits: large ears that stand straight up, lanky (clearly still growing due to how large her paws are relative to her body), long snout, and learns quickly. Uncertain if she is spayed.
