Granite-Tops is looking for a Field Measure Technician with the ability to install. In this role, this person is responsible for delivering accurate, quality results and service to our customers during the field measure stage of our process, the installation process and performing repairs as needed. Duties and responsibilities Responsible for excellent communication with job supervisor, customers and all involved in all projects to thoroughly and accurately field measure jobs View, maintain, load files, communicating through Moraware Job tracking Software system Reviewing, responding to company emails Manual measuring with cut sheets/templates if needed Perform public relations (PR) as needed Work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining efficient, quality work. Additional Responsibilities: Perform repairs such as seams, chips, pits Mount sinks and dishwashers Pick up sinks Assist installation crews as needed Represent our company as a safe, professional, on-time, Quality Company. Provide any customer service needed Work safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety policies, procedures and guidelines Qualifications Required: Organization – to keep track of multiple projects, files, and schedules in order to maintain high customer service level Team Driven – support team members in sales, field measure and installation processes to ensure customers expectations are exceeded Communication - the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customer, project coordinator, job supervisor or subcontractor and headquarters Computer – proficiency in computer applications to assist in executing the business processes Basic math skills and accuracy in reading a tape measure Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Working Knowledge of tablets & smartphones Must be 18 or older (21 to drive out of state) Valid Drivers License Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check HS Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Knowledge of CAD application AutoCAD experience Fabrication experience Project management/coordination experience Previous sales experience Performance Measures Shop ready files with few questions by project coordinators and/or shop to execute fabrication Minimal Travel mileage Accuracy of field measures Return trips are minimal because of field measure errors Square Feet Measure per Day & per Hour Customer Satisfaction/Complaints Daily tasks completed on time Accuracy of proposals Attendance must be within company guidelines Granite-Tops is an AA/EOE Employer
