Job Title: Marina Groundskeeper/ Light Building & Docks Maintenance Reports to: Dockmaster Type: Hourly wage, Full Time Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hrs with seasonal adjustments dependant on weather situations and special events. General Description: Support position with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: • Prepare and maintain landscape: • Mow and maintain lawns • Maintain flower beds • Rake and blow leaves. • De-ice walkways in winter • Shovel and use snow blower to clear entry ways, walkways and docks. • Plow for snow removal. • Keep docks clean • Keep related equipment well maintained. • Small maintenance projects on main building, boat shop, out buildings and docks. • Clean new and used boats. Un-wrap new boats. • Clean and maintain support vehicles/ trucks. • Assists other departments when necessary. Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. • Special projects as assigned Job Skill Requirements: • Must be 18 or over with a valid driver’s license. • Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment and tools. • Ability to read written instructions and hear oral instructions. • Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, lift 50 lbs and work safely around water, on a ladder or in confined spaces. • Ability to work independently, with an eye for detail and appreciation for cleanliness.
