If idiot Mainahs would heed simple, common sense public health measures like wearing a mask or getting vaccinated, instead turning them into some sort of bizarre badge or signification of political affiliation and belief, there wouldn't be a need for restrictions and mandates. You really need to be told to wash your hands?
Measures like those are put in place to counteract stupidity and ignorance, not to secure the public health in and of itself. In a sane society there'd be no need for such things.
