Guitarist looking to start a 90's cover band

I know it's a long shot but what the hell. Been wanting to start a band for a while but I'm somewhat new to the area and don't have many musical connections here. I think it would be fun to start a cover band with a focus on pop punk and other standard cover songs to play some gigs at bars around the area. Think Blink-182, Third Eye Blind, etc. with plenty of other stuff mixed in as well and maybe even originals if we get that far. Some info about me, I'm 25 and have been playing guitar my whole life, also dabble with the bass and could do some backup vocals. I have my own equipment but no place to practice at the moment. Ideally would want a standard rock band set up with singer, 1-2 guitars, drums, bass, and maybe keyboard but that's probably best case scenario right now. If you think that sounds like fun shoot me a message with a little info about yourself and what you play and hopefully we can get a good group together to go make some money and have a good time.
