Looking for a home and yard for this sweet girl. This is Izzy. She is an eight and a half month old, fully vaccinated and spayed basenji/cattle dog mix. She is the sweetest, and we’d love to keep her but we have our own pup so now that she’s ready for a new home, we are on the hunt! A bit about Isbn: She is VERY friendly, and is working on not jumping on/mouthing her human friends. She loves other dogs, but tends to chase cats. Her breed is a hunting breed, so she gets a little mouthy; she doesn’t bite, but likes to explore with her mouth (we are working on this too). Her breed also means that she NEEDS a yard or daily walks and hikes to curb her energy. Smaller kiddos aren’t the best match for Izzy, as she is a herder and a hunter, so running toddlers are an invitation to herd them (ie, jump on them). Older kiddos are great. Izzy is crate trained and knows to ring bells when she needs to go outside. She walks average on leash, is socialized with other dogs (our own, as well as daycare and dog parks), and is almost fully grown at 30 pounds. Izzy does get carsick on car rides longer than ten minutes, but the vet has told us that puppies tend to outgrow this. Once she’s had some Dramamine, she’s ready for adventure. Izzy has a rehoming fee of 100 dollars. I can be slightly flexible With this. She will come with some transition food, leash and collar, crate, and some toys. If interested please message me.
