Description
Loving 5 yr old dog needs a place to stretch out and a owner to care for her. Age is approximate as we adopted her from the Humane Society about 4 years ago as a puppy. She's fixed and vaccinated and has had recent tick treatment.
Her rear left leg was amputated at the femur by Humane Society surgeons prior to us adopting her. It doesn't slow her down one bit! She loves to run and will even pull adults on a skateboard.
Our housing situation has changed (major downsize) and it's not what's best for this active, heathly, outdoor-loving dog.
She does ok at dog parks and around most dogs she's familiar with, but she barks and pulls when strange dogs are near or approaching. We've always leashed on walks and recently used a muzzle to minimize barking and to control her head position.
She doesn't chew or jump on furniture. Very well behaved indoors. She's been mostly an outside dog but inside full time recently (housing downsize).
It is a difficult circumstance for us, but we know it's best for her. Please understand that we are asking for a small ($20) re-homing fee.
Included is a kennel, cone, hot-spot relief spray, muzzle, 2 leashes, collar, misc treats & food dishes.
