Originally from Chicago, residing in Tempe/Scottsdale area. I am looking to branch out into the music industry and gain more professional experience on the stage/in the studio. I studied vocal performance and audio arts/production for 2 years at Columbia College in Chicago under the direction of Jeff Morrow (voice of Tony the Tiger, BGV for Aretha Franklin/Celine Dion/Stevie Wonder, Vocal Producer for Fox show "Empire") with whom I still study private voice regularly. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1792643/bio?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm Recently started working on original music with Adam Ness ("Blush", "Have a Good Time" ft. Jamalia Woods, opened for Lalah Hathaway @House of Blues in Chicago) with whom I also studied private voice for a short time. I don't have much experience on the stage, but I have performed with The Nash Vocal Ensemble here in Phoenix for one season and more recently with their Neo-Soul group that just started this year as lead vocals. Sadly we didn't have a chance to perform in front of a live audience due to the pandemic, but we did record a live stage performance at the club. This being my first experience as a lead singer has made me hungry for more. I am clearly at the start of my singing career, but am driven and dedicated to continue learning and growing as a musician. Inspirations include Erykah Badu, Anderson.Paak, Donny & Lalah Hathaway, Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong A short-term goal of mine right now is to perform live as a solo singer for the first time, and from there make it a habit to start performing live regularly. Thinking coffee house open mics and things of that nature. At this point I'm just looking for people to jam with and see if we vibe well musically, and to gain more experience behind the mic.
