My husband and I are both entrepreneurs and parents of two school-aged boys (ages 6 and 9). We’re looking for someone full-time to run our household in Rollingwood. As our Household Manager, you will be responsible for helping us hire and manage others in our home and for overseeing more complex projects like travel planning. On a daily basis, you’ll jump in to help out in any area of day-to-day family life, starting in the morning with making breakfast, helping wake up our kids, and getting them to school on time (can you tell we’re not morning people?). Throughout the day you’ll help with various tasks, from tidying up the home, researching and planning travel, managing schedules, and more. Our ideal candidate is someone who has worked with a family before, including managing others, and enjoys helping a household run smoothly and has excellent research and organizational skills. Your specific responsibilities will include: - Household Maintenance: ensuring our home is fully stocked, maintained, and organized while also helping to keep the home and cars tidy - Household Staff Management: managing our part-time household staff, which currently consists of a part-time nanny and housekeeper, and overseeing outside vendors such as landscapers, pool cleaners, etc... - Schedule and Logistics: maintaining the family calendar by overseeing the daily scheduling and logistics for all things family-related, including our children’s appointments and activities, restaurant reservations, etc. - Miscellaneous: running errands, handling returns, processing mail, special projects and research, helping care for our two cats Benefits and Compensation: - We will provide full health benefits and compensation based on experience. Desired Qualifications: - Morning Person :) - Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Family Assistant, or Household Manager - Experience with and enjoyment of working with children - Organizational skills with a strong attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload - Technically savvy, resourceful in terms of internet research and online shopping - Pride in a tidy home - Driver’s license and clean driving record Location: Rollingwood, TX Schedule: Full-Time, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday - Friday If this sounds like you, please apply!
