John Beasley 4Tet Jazz Friday, August 20, 2021 | 6PM Grammy award winning Pianist, John Beasley, has performed with Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Chaka Khan, Queen Latifah, and Dianne Reeves, to name a few. As a recording artist he has a dozen albums, and has earned ten GRAMMY nominations, six for his project MONK’estra, which also won the #2 Album of the year from Downbeat Magazine in 2021. Beasley also writes for film and TV projects, including the blockbuster projects 1917, Finding Nemo, Skyfall, and Spectre. In 2016, Jazz at the White House earned Beasley an Emmy nomination.
