Title: Installation Crew Member Reports to: Install Manager / Installation Team Lead Payment terms: Hourly General Description: Responsible for constructing kits on customer’s property or at the Shop, while maintaining a professional appearance. Maintaining company tools and equipment needed to complete the projects in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. Complete all tasks given by the Installation Team Lead unless the task appears to violate workplace safety. Duties/Responsibilities: • Labor o Construct ADU/Shed/Garage Kits from Lapp Structures o Construct Pavilion/Pergola/Gazebo Kits from Country Lane Woodworking o Apply Roofing (Composition Shingles / Metal) o Apply Touch-up paint as needed • Clean-up o Remove all trash from work site (Customer’s Site / Install Shop) o Cut all shiners o Sweep for nails post workday o Remove all trash from trucks • Maintain Documents o Time Sheet on Paychex o Checklist [If assigned by Job Lead] Non-Permitted Accessory Structure Check List Site Inspection Checklist Shear Inspection Checklist Final Inspection Checklist • Safety o Maintain Personal Safety Equipment Steel-toe Boots Safety Glasses Gloves o Participate in the bi-weekly Safety Meeting • Tool Knowledge o Saws Circular Saw, Table Saw, Fig Saw, Reciprocating Saw, Miter Saw, Band Saw, Chain Saw o Pneumatic Tools Nail Gun, Impact Driver, Air Compressor, Impact Wrench, Hammer Drill, Multi-Tool o Power Tools Drill, Orbital Sander, Angle Grinder, Router, Belt Sander, Bench Grinder, Lathe, Biscuit Joiner Disclaimer: *This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Qualifications: • We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED • At least 1 year experience with framing, roofing, and other construction tasks highly preferred • Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred • Our crew members must be physically able to do the work with reliable hand-eye coordination and balance • Important to be able to work independently and with a team, take direction and follow-through • Knowledge of basic engineering and construction laborer methods is preferred, but we will provide training About Company We are a family-owned General Contractor, specializing in the sales and installation of residential accessory structures.
