I own a small business. I no longer hire American employees. Here is why; Young americas are not great employees. They are lazy, entitled, spend time on their phones while on the clock. They are often late and not productive. Young Americans show up to work hung over or high and act like the world, owes them something. America workers complain and affect the mood at work. Obviously, I am generalizing but in my experience this is true for about 90% of U.S. born workers. On the other hand, immigrant workers show up on time, work hard, are grateful for the opportunities offered to them. They have great attitudes and strong work ethics. They never call in sick or show up late. They are kind loving family oriented people. They do not take opportunity for granted. They respect their coworkers and take pride in their work. I actually pay immigrant workers more because they are more valuable to me. I respect and appreciate them, and they appreciate and respect me. American born workers are entitled fragile snowflakes with a very poor work ethic. This is why immigrants come to America. They are seizing an opportunity to fill a void that Americans refuse to compete in. And I for one am grateful for the good employees.
