Laborer for Fence-Building

Richey Contracting LLC is looking to hire a full-time reliable hard worker for a physically demanding position as laborer. We are a fencing and fence-repair company located in Spokane, WA. We encourage and will consider anyone who is willing to work hard safely, and show up as scheduled. During the summer, our working hours (depending on the weather) are Monday – Friday, approx. 7 AM – 3 PM. REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs. repeatedly, and use basic manual tools to transport equipment and supplies to and throughout job sites. - Ability to get oneself to jobsites all over the greater Spokane area reliably. - Show up as discussed. - Must have strong and reliable communication skills during working hours, including having a reliable mobile with text capabilities. - Be a self-starter: someone who can progress the work without constant supervision. - Treat all clients and their property with respect and care. - Ability to acclimate to working in all sorts of weather and dress accordingly. We work outdoors all year round. PREFERENCE: - Be prepared at each job site with a basic set of personal hand tools contained in a toolbelt/vest, including 25 ft tape measure, hammer, speed square, and retractable box knife. - Willingness to learn to use power tools SAFELY, including drills, saws, augers, and nail guns. - Ability to amicably take direction from owners/leads, including female leads. - A valid driver’s license. - Non-smokers. Physical fitness will also help this position. - No building experience is required, but is helpful.
