We are a landscaping company looking to expand our business. We are looking for experienced landscaping professionals who have a full understanding of the details that go into providing a one of a kind landscaping experience for our clients. To set us apart from other companies Croatan Landscaping sets high standards of customer service and being very detailed oriented, so our team members must be friendly, cooperative, and take direction well. North Carolina has very unpredictable weather so there may be some weeks of long days and other weeks of rain. Some days will be on an on-call situation when competing with the weather, so you must be available. Typical Duties & Responsibilities Be at work on time, prepared, & ready to work Be prepared to work in the heat (Water jug, hat, sunscreen, steel toed work boots, eye protection, ear protection, etc.) We will be providing work shirts Listen to the crew leader at all times and follow directions Load in the a.m. / Unload in the p.m. the work vehicle with tools that you will need for the jobs of that day Operate landscaping tools such as chainsaws, hedge trimmers, sod cutter, stump grinder, skid steers, & hand tools Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges in a very detailed manner. Install metal and brick edging, shrubs and trees, mulch, pine straw, rock, etc. Keep a clean work place including clients yards and trucks Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 75lbs Must be EXTREMELY dependable with reliable transportation; drivers license required 1 or 2 plus years Landscaping Experience, not mowing/maintenance related Must have great work ethic and positive attitude with a willing to learn Pay is based on experience.
