Description
I'm in a spot. I have a 4 wheel 24 volt DC " california comfort" scooter. It is a very old one, maybe 20 or more years old. I"ve been using it to get around in the back yard. It was working but the next day it is not. I turned it on, I get the little red light which indicates it's on and ready. The newly purchased batteries are maybe 2 months old and fully charged. I hear the release of the motor brake. Normally I press the forward switch and it goes. Now it does not. I've checked the connections to the battery. they are tight. The plug in the charging port is tight. PLug has to be in for it to run. This is not the charging plug. It is a safety feature. There is no safety switch on the seat. Like I said it was running fine. The humidity may have something to do with it as I store it outside under a cover roof. I'm sure it's some connection and I'm thinking the "forward" switch is the culprit.
I was hoping someone may have some experience with these and can help me out. I'll be looking at some youtube videos. Maybe I'll find what I need to know.
