Technics 2000, Inc. is currently seeking a CNC Machine Operator and a Set Up Machinist to add to our team. Technics is family-owned and has been in business 40+ years. CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities: Machine parts to tolerance by observing machine function Scans machining process to detect malfunctions Keep accurate, easy-to-read records of work performed and materials used. No experience necessary. If you are willing to learn a new trade, we will provide on the job training CNC Set Up Machinist Responsibilities: Studies specifications, blueprints, drawings or sample prototypes to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces and setup requirements. Measures and marks dimensions and reference points for subsequent machining. Selects, secures and aligns die, fixtures and attachments to machine stock. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors and automated controls. Scans machining process to detect malfunctions and readjust settings as needed. Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams Fits and assembles parts into complete or partial assembly when needed Technics provides a family friendly environment.
