Zerorez is currently looking for a quality individual to fill our open Shop Maintenance Assistant position. It's also the perfect position for extra income in retirement. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, above average mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will assist in our efforts to keep our tools operational and our shop clean/organized. This position will also be responsible for checking-in vehicles and making them ready for each day. He or she will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and will enjoy working in a fast paced environment. This person will also be available to run errands, deliver tools and interact at times with our customers in a professional manner. These daily responsibilities are vital to our success so the candidate must be a self-starter and able to produce results with little or no guidance. Qualifications: Experience in many facets of maintenance including; minor electrical repair, small engine repair, carpentry, knowledge of engines and general maintenance or vehicles is a plus. Reliable transportation Excellent record keeping and computer literacy Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Work Hours: Part-time - 5 days a week $17 per hour Sundays off plus one other day of the week. Education/Experience: Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma. Working knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel and Word. Communication skills: Must be able to read, write and speak clearly in English. Communicate in an effective and professional manner with management, peers, service technicians and customers.
