Biden’s America Today Pros: Stock market is up. Covid vaccinations are up. Number of jobs available is up. These were all going up before Biden was elected and his administration has had little to do with the numbers changing. Cons: No plan to stop thousands of foreigners from illegally crossing the Southern border. Shut down oil pipeline construction and drilling. Moved the U.S from being energy independent to energy dependent. Supported construction of a European oil pipeline that will greatly benefit Russia. Extended additional unemployment payments making it difficult for employers to hire workers. Has proposed an “infrastructure” bill that goes far beyond infrastructure costing trillions of dollars. Announced a total and sudden withdrawal from Afghanistan with no plan to evacuate Afghans who assisted U.S. forces and allowing the Taliban to completely take over the country. This decision has created an international embarrassing mess. So far it appears Biden and his advisors have done very little to help Americans.
